Asociación Argentina de pacientes, familiares y amigos con Cáncer Genitourinario VICARE
We are the first Argentine Association of patients, family members and friends with Genitourinary Cancer. This includes kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular and penis cancers. Founded with the aim of reducing mortality from the disease and supporting patients, family members and friends. To this end, we work to educate, disseminate, prevent, help, raise awareness and research everything related to genitourinary cancer from Argentina to the world.
We have the privilege of having all the knowledge and support of Dr. Matías Chacón in his role as Honorary President and Founder. We are members of the IKCC International Kidney Cancer Coalition, the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition, Patient Platform and “#United for Cancer”.
Our Objectives
We seek to become a reference in Latin America for patients and families of genitourinary cancer in the following ways:
- We provide support to patients and their families.
- We generate awareness programs on the prevention of genitourinary cancer for the community in general.
- We provide an informative space on our website and social networks.
- We focus on “Healthy Treatment” combining good nutrition, physical activity, medical treatment and psychological support for patients, family members and friends.
- We train health professionals.
